Our process, step by step.

Step 1: Introduce yourself
From office tours, to speaking engagements, to meet-the-firm events, BDO gives you a wide variety of opportunities – both on- and off-campus – to get to know the firm. In addition to nationally sponsored recruiting events, such as our summer leadership program, many of our offices host their own events for interested students.

Step 2: Application and first-round interviews
BDO requires all students to apply online. All resumes are reviewed and, if selected, you will be contacted for an interview.

BDO holds on-campus interviews at select colleges across the country. On-campus interviews usually take 30 minutes and are conducted by managers or partners. If we aren't scheduled to visit your campus, your first interview will likely take place over the phone.

Step 3: Office interviews  
After the initial round of interviews, select students will be invited to interview in our offices. These interviews are typically with three BDO professionals, including a partner, and conclude with lunch or dinner.

Step 4: Offers
Our goal is to produce an offer within a timely manner. Once the interview process has concluded, BDO will make hiring decisions, and send offers quickly.
