Please join your fellow FutureCFOs for a discussion on current issues and best practices that are critical to your path to becoming a CFO. This is a great opportunity to exchange information and seek guidance from your peers who may have experience with similar challenges.

CFOs Brian Gieseler, Jeff Quan, Bill Rosenthal, and Neil Watanabe will provide their perspectives on success strategies and tips to progressing and becoming CFO.

Jeff Quan - Mr. Quan has +25 years operating, finance as well as middle-market M&A leadership experience.  He is team-oriented, results driven and has operated within wide raging environments from VC funded start-ups to Fortune 50 entities. Experience in growing organizations through strategic and channel development, corporate finance, and collaborative partnerships and transactions.
 

Neil Watanabe -  Neil Watanabe is the Chief Financial Officer for US Auto Parts a publically traded Company on NASDAQ.  Neil has been with the company since March 2015. 
 
Prior to his appointment at US Auto Parts, he served as Chief Operating Officer for National Stores, a discount department store chain that operates more than 300 locations. At National Stores, he was responsible for the successful integration of 3 retail chains which were acquired, allowing for significant synergistic savings as a result of streamlining the supply chain, and centralizing and consolidating operating expenses.
 
Neil has over 30 years of finance, accounting and operational experience and has previously served in both Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer Positions for both public and private national retail companies. Neil began his retail career with Montgomery Ward and Filenes Basement. He is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts and obtained certification as a Public Accountant in Illinois.
 

Brian Gieseler - Brian Gieseler joined Heluna Health in 2017 as its Chief Financial Officer leading the Accounting and Operations teams. Brian joins Heluna Health from Tatum, where he was a CFO Engagement Partner for more than ten years. While at Tatum he served as an interim senior financial executive for a variety of clients, most notably as interim CFO for the Special Olympics International, the J. Craig Venter Institute, as well as many other private and public entities. Prior to joining Tatum, Brian served in various financial and operational roles for companies ranging in size from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, including Burroughs Corporation, Perot Systems, Inc. and MCI. Brian holds a Master of Business Administration from the Wake Forest University Babcock Graduate School of Management, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration from Catawba College and an Accounting Certificate from the University of Virginia. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, tennis and golf.
 
 
Bill Rosenthal
-  Bill has been working in advertising and entertainment for more than 20 years in a variety of financial and operational roles. He joined PMK*BNC as its Chief Financial Officer in 2016. Bill most recently was the Chief Operating Officer at Ignited, an independent advertising agency based in Los Angeles, which he joined shortly after its formation. Over the course of his tenure there, he helped grow the business from start-up to over $200 million in client billings. In addition to overseeing all financial and reporting matters, his responsibilities included leadership over client services, media, and operations. Prior to Ignited, Bill held several positions at The Walt Disney Company in their Consumer Products division. While at Disney, Bill analyzed royalty and talent agreements, implemented new software systems and traveled around the world supporting international business units in Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Bill started his career in Boston at Deloitte and Touche earning his CPA. He later served as Controller at Goodwill Industries before moving to Los Angeles in 1996. He received his undergraduate degree from The College of William and Mary and his MBA at The University of Southern California. Bill is an avid runner, married with three children and three dogs.
