The presentation will be a moderated panel discussion to provide insights into the evolution of business and personal risks in cyberspace – ranging from computer and data security issues to the use and potential abuse of social media as a tool for corporate and personal disclosure. Management and boards should be focused on the threat of hackers disrupting corporate operations or bringing down a company's online presence, the theft or alteration of sensitive customer data, the risks associated with intended and unintended communication of "insider" information, how to insure themselves against breaches, and, when risks "go viral," remediation actions to take.
