Tony is a State Tax Managing Director with more than 30 years of professional tax experience in both public accounting and private industry. He joined BDO in 2016, after eight years from a multinational conglomerate specializing in manufacturing, petroleum refining, and financial trading. Tony was the State Tax Director responsible for the state tax planning function as well as leading the state tax aspects of the mergers & acquisitions activity for the second largest privately held company in America. He leads the BDO state tax team in the Southeast United States.

Patrick Wallace is a partner and the southeast regional leader for BDO’s R&D Tax Services practice with more than 16 years of experience advising clients on federal and state tax matters. Since 2005, he has worked exclusively in the area of U.S. federal and state tax credits and related incentives. Patrick has advised a range of companies―including start-ups, small privately-held companies, and billion dollar publicly traded companies―in an array of industries such as software, life sciences, engineering, consumer products, restaurants, government contracting, and manufacturing.
