To address these challenges, BDO’s Center for Corporate Governance and Education is presenting a webinar next week that is relevant to all boards, including nonprofits.

On October 18th at 12:00pm ET, join BDO, BoardEffect and Pound Consulting for a panel discussion centered on the use of board communication tools and technology to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency and engagement among your board of directors. The program will feature perspectives and practices from directors who serve across the nonprofit, public and private sectors along with an example of an online collaboration portal to demonstrate how technology can facilitate information sharing, education and interaction among full boards while assisting them in fulfilling governance responsibilities. During the session, participants will learn:
  • How online portal technology is being constructed specifically for use by boards;
  • How to determine ROI for secure solutions for managing governance responsibilities; and 
  • How boards can directly benefit from communication tools and processes designed to enhance collaboration among their members, as well as their committees.
