Driving Excellence

Championing excellence, empowerment, and opportunity—on and off the course.

BDO is deepening its involvement in golf through a multi-year LPGA partnership and our support of two inspiring brand ambassadors—Billy Horschel and Albane Valenzuela—reflecting our people-first commitment to performance, potential, and purpose.

In a move championing excellence, empowerment, and opportunity, the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) has announced a multi-year partnership naming BDO USA as the Official Tax and Audit Partner of the LPGA. This collaboration unites two organizations dedicated to helping people thrive—whether in the world of business or on the fairway.

BDO will bring its knowledge and insights to help advance the mission and goals of the LPGA. BDO’s culture is grounded in a people-first philosophy and a dedication to creating spaces where everyone is encouraged to achieve exceptional outcomes. These values resonate strongly with the LPGA’s mission to inspire, transform and advance opportunities for girls and women in golf.

Meet BDO’s Brand Ambassadors

Headshot of PGA golfer Billy Horschel

Billy Horschel

We are proud to support Billy's efforts fighting food insecurity issues, his interests in growing the game with the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Billy Horschel Junior Championship and his leadership of the diversity-focused Advocates Pro Golf Association (APGA) Tour Billy Horschel Invitational.

As a frequent champion on the PGA TOUR, philanthropist, and entrepreneur, Billy has achieved success on an international scale. He knows that global reach is crucial to staying competitive, whether on the golf course or in the office. A native and lifetime resident of Northeast Florida, Billy has won eight times on the PGA TOUR and one time on the DP World Tour. He has performed on the game’s biggest stages, claiming the 2014 FedExCup and representing Team USA in the 2022 Presidents Cup and 2007 Walker Cup.

Billy is a dedicated husband to his wife, Brittany, and father to their three children. He hosts one of the most successful American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) tournaments, and, along with Annika Sorenstam, was named as one of two National Chairmen on the AJGA Board of Directors. Billy’s passion to grow diversity in the game of golf has led him to host an Advocates Pro Golf Association (APGA) Tour event that provides an opportunity for minority professional golfers to gain experience on and off the course through competition and networking with industry leaders in the golf space. Billy and Brittany established the Horschel Family Foundation that is dedicated to serving their local community and the military, while focusing on causes such as mental health, addiction, and combatting food insecurity.

We are proud to support the Horschel Family Foundation, and in particular, Billy's leadership efforts in growing the game with the youth-focused AJGA Billy Horschel Junior Championship and the diversity-focused APGA Tour Billy Horschel Invitational.

Headshot of Albane Valenzuela

Albane Valenzuela

We are proud to support Albane on and off the course and are inspired not only by her worldclass dedication, but also by her commitment to raise funds for autism research through the Alexis for Autism foundation she started with her brother. To date, the charity has raised over $300,000 for autism-related research. BDO will also support the Alexis for Autism foundation, whose focus and purpose are to organize golf events to raise funds for associations, foundations and medical research for autism.

Albane will sport the BDO logo on her polo during each of her tournaments on the LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour this year.

Born in New York City, and raised in Mexico City and Geneva, Switzerland, Albane is a three-time Olympian, Stanford graduate, Solheim Cup team member, professional golfer, and BDO brand ambassador. She started golfing at the age of 5 and qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro right before she began her college career at Stanford University where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a 4.0 GPA and degree in political science. Albane turned pro in 2019 and most recently competed in the Paris Olympics for Team Switzerland. As a junior golfer, Albane won the prestigious Junior Orange Bowl and Doral Publix Junior Classic Championships. She earned low amateur honors in the ANA Inspiration Major Championship and made the cut at the U.S. Women’s Open. Her solid play allowed her to qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games, where she represented Team Switzerland. The youngest member of Switzerland’s team, and one of only three amateurs in the golf competition, Albane finished T-21st. In her collegiate career, she finished runner-up in the 2017 and 2019 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championships, won the 2018 East Lake Cup, and was the 2019 Pac-12 Golfer of the Year (first in program history). Albane currently has full status on both the Ladies Professional Golf Tour (LPGA) and the Ladies European Tour (LET). In 2024, Albane finished 2nd in the Honda Thailand event, marking her best finish on Tour. She also competed for Team Switzerland in her third Olympic Games, and was a member of the prestigious European Team at the Solheim Cup.
