Tim Seigler

Tim Seigler is a Principal in the Third Party Attestation Practice and is currently serving as the Southeast Regional Practice Leader and National Healthcare/HITRUST Industry Leader. With more than 15 years of professional experience serving an array of clients in the healthcare, technology, financial services, and not-for-profit/higher education industries, he is responsible for the coordination and execution of BDO’s third-party attestation services throughout the Southeast.

Prior to joining BDO, Tim served as a director in the Technology Risk practice of a Big Four firm, leading and executing IT audit and third-party attestation engagements throughout the U.S. and Europe.

Tim has also served as an inspector for a firm’s internal inspection process as well as a lead facilitator at national training events for the it audit and third-party attestation service lines, including development of training courses and thought leadership for the practice.

Tim is an active member of University of Georgia’s MIS Advisory Board, and has been a guest lecturer at University of Alabama, University of Florida, and University of Georgia on IT audit topics, as well as a guest speaker at local Atlanta chapter meetings for the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
