Please join BDO Consulting for a complimentary breakfast seminar featuring continuing legal education eligible for one and a half (1.5) CLE credits.

As trusted business advisors, corporate attorneys are often the first to receive a call from a client experiencing a loss due to man-made events, catastrophic storms, negligence, and / or breaches of contract . Establishing or defending such a claim requires immediate action to capture the vital information, to identify the key facts, and to mitigate ongoing losses.

This session will cover the scope and purpose of economic damages analyses, from identifying important financial elements of a calculation to evaluating lost calculation methods. The presentation will utilize case examples from prior catastrophic events, both in terms of preparing an economic damages claim as well as defending a lost profits case.  Q&A among the attendees will be encouraged.
