  • Explain the benefits of having diversity in the boardroom.          

  • Discuss the transition in the boardroom from "former CEOs" to a collection of "subject matter experts", increasing the opportunity to diversify the board across gender, race, ethnicity, age, and experience.

  • Explore succession planning for the board through the use of a skills matrix comparison of current board members skills and those needed to support the company's long-term strategic plan.
