David Greaves

David is a Managing Director with BDO in Atlanta and serves as the firm's Tax Market leader for the South Atlantic Region encompassing Georgia, North and South Carolina and Southern Virginia. In this role, he oversees the overall go to market strategy for the firm in the market while also coordinating the development and deployment of tax and cross-functional service teams spanning audit and advisory services. He has over 24 years of experience advising clients in the tax arena around compliance, planning, tax provision and controversy-oriented matters, while also leading global account teams coordinating the delivery of a large variety of advisory services including deal advisory, strategy, supply chain/procurement transformation, operations consulting and technology enablement. Throughout his career, he has advised clients across a range of industries including manufacturing, consumer products, automotive, telecommunications and smart energy. Prior to joining BDO, David was a Principal with a Big Four firm in Atlanta for seven years where he served primarily in Global Account and other market leadership roles in addition to leading the firm's Atlanta state and local tax practice.

In addition to being an Eagle Scout and serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Area Boy Scouts, David has been an active supporter of Komen Atlanta, through involvement in a range of fundraising efforts including the Komen Walk for the Cure.
