He is a California-qualified attorney with extensive experience assisting clients optimize global tax positions through alignment of tax strategy with business objectives in a practical manner. 

Brandon practices in all areas of international taxation and regularly advises on issues relating to cross border restructuring, subpart F, foreign tax credit planning, tax treaties and global tax rate reduction. Over the course of his career he has worked in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Tokyo, as well as in Washington, D.C. in the national tax office of a global accounting firm.

Brandon has written, spoken and lectured on a wide variety of topics including tax reform, subpart F, section 367, Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), value-added tax, taxation of virtual currencies and financial statement implications for U.S. multinationals.
