Q1 2015 Restaurant Benchmarking Update

Our quarterly report tracks key metrics of publicly traded restaurant companies by segment. In this issue, we look at operating results through the first quarter of 2015. The numbers indicate positive signs for the industry. Same-store sales increased across all segments, commodity prices – for the most part – dipped, and cost of sales held steady for all segments except pizza, which saw a decline due to reduced cheese and wheat prices.
