Please join BDO Consulting for a complimentary breakfast seminar featuring continuing legal education.
This session will cover the hot topic of the “Double Dip,” - the argument that the same income has been used twice, once as spousal support and again to value an asset subject to Equitable Distribution.
We will address:
- Recent Court decisions addressing this topic;
- Differences in addressing perpetual lived assets vs. depleting assets;
- Dealing with the issue from a marital vs. non-marital asset perspective, and
- Financial theories that support both sides of this argument.
No matter which side of the argument you favor you will not want to miss this session which will provide valuable information and practice tips.
