Brandon Otis leads BDO Consulting's litigation post-acquisition in matters involving damages related to breach of contract, the application of generally accepted accounting principles, and the forensic reconstruction of records. He has testified in federal and state court. Mr. Otis has experience in numerous industry sectors, including oil and gas, insurance, manufacturing and distribution, professional services, medical practices and construction contractors. He has published and presented on numerous forensic accounting, valuation and financial services topics.

Jeffrey M. Katz, CPA/ABV/CFF, CFE, Partner, BDO Consulting 

Jeffrey Katz leads the firm’s Dispute Advisory Services practice, with more than 25 years of experience providing forensic accounting and litigation consulting services to attorneys, businesses and individuals. He analyzes financial issues, prepares damage analyses, designs court exhibits, provides testimony at trial or deposition, and serves as a neutral arbitrator.

Mr. Katz has served as an arbitrator, consultant and expert witness in post-acquisition disputes involving the analysis and interpretation of acquisition agreements, evaluation of claims for breaches of representations and warranties and allegations of bad faith, as well as the application of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
