With an increasing focus on oversight of strategic risks, internal audit is becoming a critical component in the success of today’s organizations.  This presentation will review and provide practical insights relating to current trends and areas of focus, ‘hot topics’, for today’s internal audit departments. In this presentation we will discuss challenges/opportunities and share leading practices in the following areas:  Data Analytics, Revenue Recognition, Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) and marketing internal audit internally.

This session will provide an overview on internal investigation and reporting considerations as well as how to leverage investigation findings in an internal audit risk assessment.  A case study will be utilized throughout.
