- Identify major enforcement themes related to tracking technologies (websites and mobile apps), including common allegations tied to consent, notice, data sharing, and cross-border data transfers.
- Explain the technical fundamentals of common tracking tools (e.g., pixels, SDKs, tags, session replays) and evaluate how these technologies impact compliance risk through data mapping and validation/testing approaches.
- Apply practical response strategies to reduce exposure and improve readiness—such as strengthening consent and cookie governance, enhancing vendor/third-party controls, and improving documentation and incident/inquiry response playbooks.

Information about CPE Eligibility
To receive CPE credit for participation in a BDO USA, P.C. Events webcast program, you must respond to the occasional attendance checks that appear throughout the program and be in attendance for a minimum of 50 minutes.
