We would like to invite you to attend our exclusive Board of Directors Forum. This quarterly series presented by BDO USA, LLP features an intimate group format providing a platform for Board Members to discuss hot topics currently impacting pubic companies.

This quarter's topic includes a guest speaker focused on "Leading with Mindfulness." The simple practice of meditation is now known to reduce stress, enhance productivity and creativity, support work-life balance, and contribute to a healthier, happier life. Let’s learn why innovative companies are including meditation as part of employee wellness programs and how we can personally benefit and lead from this simple practice.

Yogacharya Ellen Grace O'Brian is the Spiritual Director of the Center for Spiritual Enlightenment, a ministry in the spiritual tradition of Kriya Yoga that serves people from all faith backgrounds.

She is the author of several books on meditation and spiritual practice including Living the Eternal Way: Spiritual Meaning and Practice in Daily Life; the Editor of Enlightenment Journal, a quarterly yoga magazine; and author of several CD lessons on the classic spiritual works including: The Gospel of Thomas, The Bhagavad Gita and The Upanishads. She hosts the Yoga Hour, a weekly radio program on the Unity FM network reaching over 122 countries with inspiration and practices from the yoga tradition.

She received the Human Relations Award from the Santa Clara County Office of Human Relations in 2008 recognizing her contribution to positive human relations and peace in Santa Clara County. She is the founder and President of Carry the Vision (CTV), www.CarrytheVision.org a community nonprofit organization dedicated to nonviolence education, helping people discover the potential of ahimsa in all walks of life. She is the Vice Chair emeritus of the Board of Trustees of the Council for a Parliament of the World’s Religions.
