A hands-on workshop covering FASB Accounting Standard Update 2016-02, Leases.

FASB’s Accounting Standard Update (ASU) 2016-02 Leases (Topic 842) is effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2019, for private companies, and interim periods within those fiscal years.

The pronouncement amends the existing accounting standards for lease accounting, including requiring lessees to recognize most leases on their balance sheet and making targeted changes to lessor accounting.

Now is the time to take action. It could take months to organize resources, gather relevant lease data, and implement new accounting policies.

During our workshop, we will work through a real life example of how to account for a lease under ASU 2016-02 and ensure you have the tools and knowledge to be able to apply the standard to your Company.
