Neena Masih serves as the Managing Principal of BDO’s Government Services practice. She has over 25 years of distinguished experience in public accounting and throughout her career, has exemplified exceptional leadership, deep technical knowledge and experience, and a strategic mindset while advising some of the nation’s most complex and high-profile state and local governments and tax-exempt organizations.
Neena has directed multidisciplinary teams in delivering impactful services across operational improvement, business process optimization, data analytics, policy development, and internal control assessments. Her work spans critical areas such as GASB and FASB compliance, indirect cost and trend analyses, audits by federal and private grantors, and support for bond offerings in collaboration with underwriters and bond counsel.
Neena also brings considerable experience navigating the requirements of Uniform Guidance alongside deep knowledge of economic development initiatives, procurement strategies, construction and infrastructure development, trust fund management, debt structuring, and highway administration requirements.
As Managing Principal, Neena oversees the practice’s strategic direction, talent development, business growth, and resource management to make sure BDO continues to deliver exceptional value to government clients nationwide.
