BDO Brings Fully Integrated Services to PE Client

In November 2020, a long-term private equity (PE) client acquired a home healthcare company based in the Midwest. Shortly after the acquisition, the PE firm turned to BDO for assistance in preparing its portfolio company for a transformative transaction. BDO went to work learning the company’s needs and bringing the appropriate services to the table.

BDO’s Management Advisory Services (MAS) team stepped in to fill key roles at the company, including Chief Accounting Officer, Controller, and Chief People Officer, and then developed a roadmap to prepare the company for the transaction within 6 months.

BDO offered a suite of fully integrated services to the company. MAS brought together a holistic team which included Business Services & Outsourcing for interim staffing and Accounting Reporting & Advisory Services for lease standard adoption and technical accounting services. The company also engaged BDO’s Risk Advisory Services to perform IT general controls and internal controls and Valuation & Business Analytics to provide healthcare valuation services.
