Executive Summary
Trevor has been creating, implementing, and managing financial strategies for his clients since 1995. His dream of creating his own firm was realized in 2007 when he formed an independent financial advisory practice with his partner, Micah J. Lang. Their vision was to apply the expertise gained from a combined 40+ years in the corporate broker-dealer environment to a fee-based advisory practice, which allowed them the time and flexibility to respond to each client’s unique situation. He spends his time each day putting his knowledge and experience to use in serving the needs of his clients.
Trevor began his career with Prudential Securities, working with high-net-worth, high-profile clientele. From 1998 to 2000, he had a unique opportunity to manage the day-to-day finances of professional athletes and the complexities faced by those who live in the public eye. In 2000, he joined Smith Barney, where he developed his knowledge in the areas of Investment Policy Creation, Asset Allocation, Manager Search/Selection and Performance Review.
A Colorado native, Trevor looks for opportunities to give back to his community. He is the Past-President of the Colorado I Have A Dream Foundation’s Board of Directors. CIHAD helps Denver’s most at-risk youth achieve their dreams through mentoring, academic assistance, life-skills development, and scholarships. Trevor was recognized as one of the “Forty Under 40” in 2009 by the Denver Business Journal, designating him as an up-and-comer in Denver’s business and philanthropic arenas. He was a member of the Denver Active 20-30 Children's Foundation, a group of business leaders who raise funds for at-risk youth in Denver. In his eight years of involvement, he was named Rookie of the Year, Member of the Year, and was the #1 Fundraiser in 2007. In 2005, he chaired the Denver Polo Classic, the largest polo tournament of its kind in the Country.
