In what is likely the most significant state tax decision in more than 50 years, the South Dakota v. Wayfair U.S. Supreme Court decision has broad implications for states, e-commerce sellers, digital service providers and consumers, as well as buyers and sellers of businesses.

Many companies think Wayfair only applies to people who make internet sales. However, Wayfair is much larger than that and impacts companies selling services, even services in the cloud.

Please join BDO for breakfast, and learn about the implications of South Dakota v. Wayfair on sales and use tax compliance requirements, including:
  • State sales/use tax economic nexus laws and regulations
  • What businesses should do now
  • Sales tax remediation
  • Corporate income tax and gross receipts tax consequences
BDO Tax Partner and Southwest Region Sales and Use Tax Leader Tom Smith will lead this CPE session.

We look forward to seeing you January 30!
