With the latest federal stimulus package providing additional funding for COVID-19 relief, NFP Organizations, Educational Institutions, Healthcare Entities, State and Local Governments and Tribal Governments have received significant support for their organizations and communities. These recipients are required to adhere to the Uniform Guidance requirements of the federal Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). This act requires non-federal entities that expend $750,000 or more in total federal funds during a fiscal year to have an audit performed in accordance with the Uniform Guidance (Single Audit).
