Commercial item contracting continues to evolve 25 years after the passage of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act. Recent developments in the area, from eCommerce portals to GSA’s forthcoming Schedules consolidation, to significant judicial decisions and legislation regarding commercial item procurements, highlight the many changes and opportunities awaiting providers of commercial items this year and beyond.
