Wendy Schmitz has over 15 years of employee benefit plan experience at BDO. She manages BDO’s Employee Benefit Plan (EBP) practice for the Carolinas and serves as Practice Leader for the Atlantic Region. She is also a member of the EPB national practice.

Philip Gooding has more than 12 years of public accounting experience, all of which are with BDO. Philip has significant experience with corporate domestic and international company audits, both public and private, as well as employee benefit plan audits. 

Peter Marriott and Gary Shuford have over 20 years of experience providing retirement plan consulting to clients across a wide-range of industry sectors at NFP.  They are responsible for partnering with employers to help their employees be able to retire with dignity. Services include: developing investment policy guidelines; providing fund research; and conducting peer and plan reviews to ensure compliance with fiduciary standards.
