Tom Mannion

Tom serves as the Practice Leader for the firm’s Valuation and Capital Market Analytics practice. In addition, Tom is the Global Telecommunications Leader for BDO’s Global TMT team and serves as a member of BDO’s National Accountability Team known internally as CLIMB. He also serves on the Fairness Opinion Committee for the firm.

He is based in the Atlanta office and has more than 25 years of professional experience performing business valuations for both financial reporting and tax planning purposes. Tom has experience conducting valuations of common stock, preferred stock, restricted securities, debt instruments and various types of intangible assets, including software, customer relationships, licenses agreements, patents, trade names and other forms of intellectual property.

He has provided financial consulting services in support of mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. Tom also has significant experience with a focus on Data Centers and telecommunications, specifically in wireline and wireless service providers, fiber optics, satellite and a host of equipment vendor businesses. Tom has been published in several business periodicals discussing various trends in valuations as it relates to certain industries.

Prior to joining BDO, Tom previously worked for several Big Four firms as well as working with Delta Airlines.
