Jennifer Spooner manages all aspects of the tax practice in BDO’s Central Florida offices and oversees compliance and quality control within the tax department. She provides corporate and international tax services, specializing in pass-through entities, closely held businesses and personal income tax for high-net-worth individuals. She primarily serves mid-size corporations, S-corporations, and partnerships and has experience in the hospitality, real estate, manufacturing and technology industries.

She began her career in 1994 with KPMG in Chicago, where she worked in the firm’s personal financial planning group for over three years. After moving to Orlando in 1997, she joined Deloitte and helped grow their tax department for the next eight years. Jennifer has a broad range of business experience, which allows her to advise clients on a variety of complex issues and transactions they may encounter when making financial and business decisions.

Jennifer’s knowledge and technical skills have helped numerous clients achieve significant tax savings over the years. Her passion for networking and connecting people, combined with her drive to provide exceptional service, is an added benefit to colleagues and clients. Jennifer is extremely involved in her community, serving on the boards of numerous organizations. In the past she has volunteered with such organizations as Junior Achievement, the Foundation for Foster Children and Leadership Orlando.
