Brooke Anderson

Brooke Anderson is the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer at BDO USA, where she leads the firm's risk management, compliance, and ethics functions. She oversees enterprise risk strategies, regulatory compliance programs, professional standards, and governance initiatives that support BDO’s commitment to quality, integrity, and client service. Partnering closely with firm leadership, Brooke helps strengthen risk awareness, enhance compliance frameworks, and navigate evolving regulatory and business challenges while leading a diverse team of compliance, ethics, and risk professionals across the organization.

Prior to assuming her current role, Brooke served as National Managing Principal of the firm's Private Client & Family Office Services practice and as leader of the PCS National Tax Office, where she oversaw the strategic growth and operational direction of both practices.

Brooke became a BDO Principal in 2017 and was appointed Tax Office Managing Principal for BDO Pittsburgh. She also served as Central Region Private Client Services Leader for more than five years before advancing to her national leadership roles.

Brooke brings more than 20 years of experience advising high-net-worth individuals, families, family offices, C-suite executives, and other clients with complex tax and financial structures. Throughout her career, she has focused on gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, as well as fiduciary responsibility, trust administration, and wealth transfer strategies. Brooke has helped clients navigate complex financial and tax matters by assessing current circumstances, identifying risks and opportunities, and developing tailored solutions designed to achieve optimal outcomes while preserving long-term family and business objectives.

Brooke is an attorney and holds certifications in the COSO Enterprise Risk Management Program and the Leadership Professional in Ethics & Compliance Program through the Ethics & Compliance Initiative.

Brooke is a current member and former Pittsburgh board member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization), which is a global leadership community of chief executives.
