Jim Maza is a technology executive with 25 years of experience leading complex technology organizations and large-scale transformation across professional services, insurance, higher education, digital marketing, and global nonprofit organizations.

As Chief Information Officer of BDO USA, Jim leads the firm’s enterprise technology strategy and transformation agenda. His focus is building secure, scalable, data-driven, and AI-enabled technology capabilities that support business growth, strengthen client experiences, and improve operational performance.

Jim’s experience spans enterprise transformation, post-acquisition integration, technology operating models, enterprise platforms, data modernization, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies. He is recognized for his collaborative and pragmatic leadership style and his ability to align technology strategy and investment with business priorities and measurable outcomes.

Prior to joining BDO, Jim served as CIO of a large insurance brokerage and risk-management firm, where he led the organization through several significant transformation initiatives.
