Matthew Panzica

Matt is the Tax Managing Principal for BDO’s central and west regions, leading over 1,650 professionals across approximately 30 offices. He also serves as national leader for the professional services industry group.

Matt has spent his entire career with BDO. Over the years, he has amassed a great deal of experience as a business and strategic advisor to a wide array of clients, ranging from individuals to privately held and publicly traded corporations, with varying degrees of size and complexity. While his clients span many industries, Matt has developed a strong focus in professional services, manufacturing and technology and has extensive experience with entities with multi-state and multinational operations.

In addition to helping clients comply with all applicable tax laws, Matt’s overarching objective is to deliver holistic, proactive service and provide strategic tax planning and consulting solutions. By developing a keen awareness of his clients’ businesses and goals, Matt is able to identify opportunities and add insight and clarity to complicated business decisions, helping clients minimize tax liability while effectively mitigating risk.
