Heath Winsheimer

Heath Winsheimer, CPA is an Assurance Principal and the National Real Estate & Construction Practice Co‑Leader at BDO. He also leads the Pittsburgh office Construction Service Group and the Employee Benefit Plan Audit Service Group. Heath joined BDO in December 2013 as part of the firm’s acquisition of Alpern Rosenthal and was admitted as an assurance partner in July 2016. He has more than 30 years of accounting and auditing experience serving privately held companies.

Heath’s experience primarily includes providing audit and accounting services to closely held companies in the real estate, construction, manufacturing, and distribution sectors. His work includes supporting clients through operational reviews, forecasts and projections, strategic planning, cost control, and cash flow analysis. In his national leadership role, Heath is responsible for industry strategy design and implementation and regularly contributes thought leadership for BDO publications addressing developments impacting the real estate and construction sector.
