Scott Grimm, CPA is the Southwest Market Leader and the National Real Estate & Construction Practice Co‑Leader at BDO USA. He oversees the firm’s Tax Practice across the Southwest market. Scott has more than 25 years of experience providing tax and business advisory services to closely held middle‑market clients.

Scott focuses on serving clients in the real estate, construction, and hospitality industries, providing support with tax and structural planning, tax credits, partnership accounting, cost segregation, and property transactions. In his role, he works closely with clients to address complex tax considerations and planning opportunities related to capital gains and transaction activity. Scott regularly authors thought leadership for BDO publications, contributing to insights on tax developments and trends impacting the real estate and construction sectors.

Scott is actively involved in the profession and currently serves on the planning committee for the AICPA Construction & Real Estate Conference. He previously served on the real estate and construction committees for the Colorado Society of CPAs and the Washington Society of CPAs.
