Rob Mirsky

Rob Mirsky is BDO’s National Tax Leader for Financial Services and Co-Leader of the Asset Management Practice. With more than 25 years advising financial services companies, banks, investors, asset managers, governments and regulators worldwide, Rob brings particular depth to the structuring, fundraising, tax and operational challenges facing private equity, alternative investment managers and traditional fund sponsors.

Rob has extensive experience structuring onshore and offshore investment funds, financial products and complex cross-border investments, and has represented clients across the U.S. and internationally throughout the full fund lifecycle — from formation and capital raising through to exit. He is a prolific author on investment fund and industry issues, a frequent keynote speaker before professional audiences worldwide, and is regularly quoted in the global press. Rob is also founder and Chairman Emeritus of Help for Children UK and was named by CityWealth Magazine as one of Europe’s most inspirational financial services philanthropists.
