Executive Summary
Clint Pearson is the Tax Office Managing Principal in BDO's Memphis office and has more than 20 years of experience providing a wide range of tax services to clients that range from closely-held businesses to Fortune 100 corporations.
He has extensive experience in federal, international and state tax compliance and consulting and leads BDO’s southeast region ASC 740 Income Tax Accounting group. Clint serves public company clients as well as a variety of companies owned by private equity groups and individuals. His areas of experience include corporate taxation, consolidated returns, partnerships, and multi-national taxation. Clint also has experience implementing tax-advantageous strategies, assisting with complex mergers and acquisitions, advising on tax accounting methods and performing Section 382 studies. He has written articles for the AICPA’s Tax Advisor magazine and frequently speaks at tax training seminars.
Clint has worked with clients in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, retail, insurance, transportation and telecommunications. He has also assisted clients in managing complex Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and state tax examinations.
