Based in BDO’s Woodbridge New Jersey office, Nick is a Managing Director and leads the BDO National Indirect Tax Automation practice specializing in the deployment of indirect tax technology and process improvements to support indirect tax management in a wide range of industries.
Nick has over 25 years of experience focusing on state and local tax specializing in designing, developing, and implementing technology and process to manage domestic and global indirect tax determination, calculation, compliance and reporting.
Projects that Nick has directed include global tax transformations, design and implementation of tax systems and processes, tax operations excellence, and tax savings strategies.
He has experience in ERP systems – SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, MS 365, Peoplesoft and tax systems - Vertex, OneSource (Sabrix), SOVOS(Taxware), Avalara, Corptax, and has designed custom solutions, change management programs, and trained tax personnel of Industry Leading Fortune 500 companies in various industries.
Nick has years of indirect tax experience in widespread industries: Manufacturing, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Medical, Telecommunication, and Utilities. He speaks regularly at National Tax Conferences.
