Executive Summary
Michael serves as the National Managing Principal for BDO's Professional Practice and Auditing practice. Michael leads a national team of principals and professionals assisting companies with a wide range of advisory services in areas such as: Accounting, Reporting, Capital Market Transactions, Divestitures, Bankruptcy and Reorganizations, Board Advisory Services, and various other technical accounting focused services.
He has more than 24 years of experience serving clients in several of BDO’s focus industries, both public and private. In his previous role as the Regional Technical Director for the Southwest region, he advised clients and engagement teams on technical accounting and audit matters, reviewed financial statements and corporate filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, and established and monitored the quality control procedures for the Southwest BDO offices.
He has authored a number of BDO publications on financial reporting developments as well as regularly instructs continuing education courses for BDO, our clients, and various professional organizations.
