Kristi is the Market Managing Principal for BDO’s Texas tax practice. She is responsible for leading over 450 tax professionals in the Texas market and focuses on strategy design and implementation, operational excellence, growth, and risk management.
Kristi has more than 30 years of experience advising public and private clients in every sector of real estate and construction. She guides her clients through every stage of the entity lifecycle, providing value added advice at each stage and is passionate about ensuring BDO is bringing cost saving opportunities to every client. Kristi also has extensive experience structuring settlements to minimize taxes, providing litigation support and management, and providing expert witness testimony.
Kristi has held multiple leadership positions including leading the National Homebuilding and Land Development Practice for a Big Four firm, co-leading the National Real Estate and Construction Practice for BDO and leading the Dallas and Fort Worth offices for BDO. She also has been a speaker and moderator for various organizations including the AICPA, BisNow, and the U.S. India Chamber of Commerce.
