Kevin Adams

Kevin has over 20 years of experience providing assurance services to public and private companies and funds in the financial services and fintech industries in San Francisco and New York. He spent the first 17 years of his career at a Big Four firm and joined BDO in 2022. At both firms he has served clients in the fintech, real estate, banking, payments, gift card and broker-dealer industries.

He has extensive knowledge of SEC reporting, U.S. GAAP, and various technical topics, including loan accounting, CECL, REO, revenue recognition, fair value accounting, consolidation, financial instruments, securitizations, servicing rights, and regulatory reporting.

Kevin completed a two-year National Office rotation in the Professional Practices group gaining experience with high-risk financial reporting and auditing matters across a variety of industries.
