Kade Moody

Kade Moody is the healthcare practice leader for government services at BDO. He leads in client service with a focus on relationships and the key objectives of providing financial integrity and strategic vision, having a complete lens of the population health landscape, including government, provider and community sectors.

Kade joined BDO via expansion with HORNE, where he spent 23 years after beginning his career with an international accounting firm. He has over 30 years of experience spanning audit and financial reporting, risk assessment and mitigation, federal fund compliance, and program management and implementation. Kade leverages his broad experience to provide anticipatory insights critical to the financial transformation of the healthcare industry and leads conversations necessary to envision what the future of healthcare should be in rural geographies. Kade is driven by approaching work with integrity in financial reporting involving Medicaid, managed care program compliance, and compliance with federal regulations over critical need funding streams, such as Rural Healthcare Transformation, TANF, SNAP and other public assistance funding targeted at addressing social determinants of health, while enabling an internal control environment that helps to reduce or eliminate payment errors and fraud, waste and abuse.

Kade earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is also a Certified Public Accountant, a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional.
