Joseph Canataro

Joe serves as National Practice Leader of Core Assurance, responsible for setting the strategic direction of the practice's workforce and operational agenda. In this role, he leads efforts to advance key assurance priorities, strengthen quality, enhance the people experience, and drive proactive talent planning to position the practice for evolving client and market needs. With more than 25 years of public accounting experience, Joe brings deep industry knowledge and proven leadership to the role.

Previously, Joe served as Mid-Atlantic and South-Atlantic Market Managing Principal, where he partnered with teams across multiple offices to drive growth, quality, and talent strategies.

Throughout his career, Joe has worked with public, private, and private equity-backed organizations across a range of industries, including real estate, construction, hospitality, manufacturing, and distribution. He continues to serve as lead relationship principal for several clients nationwide.
