Data and the Mining Industry
Tim Berners Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web said “Data is a precious thing and will last longer than the systems themselves”.
The mining industry is already experiencing an automation revolution. BDO’s 2020 vision for the mining industry centered firmly upon the impact of this technological change. We predicted the use of robots will replace 50% of miners by 2020, that the use of Block chain and AI will become commonplace in the industry.
