Executive Summary

Corey is a principal in BDO’s Government Services, where he works with government agencies and nonprofit organizations to address operational, financial, and programmatic challenges. He helps organizations strengthen operations, manage change, and support responsible stewardship of public funds.

With 20 years of experience spanning federal, state, tribal, territorial, and local governments, Corey has worked alongside public sector leaders during periods of growth, change, and recovery.

Prior to joining BDO, Corey served in leadership roles across emergency management, disaster recovery, community resilience, nonprofit leadership, and international development. He has led large-scale strategic planning initiatives, supported capacity-building efforts in communities across the country, provided technical assistance following disasters, and served as a senior liaison to FEMA and other public sector stakeholders. He also serves as a senior fellow at Tulane University's Disaster Resilience Leadership Academy.

Corey is passionate about public service and helping organizations create lasting value for the communities they serve. Having worked across all levels of government, he brings a practical understanding of how public initiatives move from vision to implementation. He values collaboration, continuous learning, and approaches that bring stakeholders together in service of stronger communities.
