Christopher Mueller

Chris is a Practice Leader in the Core Tax Services (CTS) group with 14 years of experience in public accounting. He has significant experience serving a range of companies from start-up and mid-size to large multi-state and multinational groups.

Chris generally serves as the relationship partner and point of contact for general business or tax-specific matters and is responsible for coordination of a client’s universal tax compliance services, including federal, multi-state, international or specialty tax services (STS).

He also regularly leads consulting and research engagements on various tax and business-related issues and has been involved with tax specialization project areas, such as domestic & international tax structuring, state and local, M&A due diligence, accounting methods, compensation and benefits, credits & incentives, tax controversy, and IRS representation.

Chris believes in and supports BDO’s core values by being one of the Milwaukee office’s Core Value Champions. He also supports the firm’s recruitment of top talent with his involvement in on-campus activities and retention of existing team members by serving as a career advisor to several professionals in the office.
