Chad Estes

Chad Estes is the Tax Office Managing Partner in the firm’s Anchorage office. Prior to joining BDO, he worked with Mikunda, Cottrell & Co. after spending 10 years in the construction industry. Chad has extensive experience in corporate, partnership, multistate and individual income taxation. He serves clients in a range of industries, including construction, government contracting, real estate, natural resources, retail and hospitality. He has worked with many Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs) and their subsidiaries on federal and state income tax, Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA), and merger and acquisitions (M&A) issues.
 
Chad has been an instructor at BDO national training conferences over the years. He is also a frequent speaker at seminars for the Associated General Contractors of Alaska, as well as the Alaska Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association.
