Cameron McDonald

Cameron is a tax partner in BDO’s Tax practice and has more than 20 years of tax consulting and tax compliance experience. His broad tax experience includes federal, state, and local tax compliance and tax planning for privately-held companies both domestic and multinational. 

He works with many closely-held businesses in a number of industries, including technology, real estate, and manufacturing and distribution. Cameron also has experience in the area of ASC 740 and issues surrounding accounting for income tax.

Prior to joining BDO, Cameron previously had experience working in the private sector as a corporate controller of a diverse family-owned organization with multiple entities across various industries.

Cameron’s corporate experience affords him a deeper understanding of client needs and challenges allowing him to share insight to help them reach their business and financial objectives.
