Brent Horak

Brent Horak, CPA is an Assurance Practice Leader and the National Real Estate & Construction Practice Co‑Leader at BDO. He also serves as the firm’s Data Center Subsegment Leader. Brent has nearly 30 years of audit and accounting experience serving public and private clients in the real estate, real estate development, lending, and financial services sectors.

Brent’s work includes leading and executing attestation engagements and coordinating the preparation of financial statements and compliance reports in accordance with U.S. GAAP, SEC, PCAOB, and statutory requirements. He has supported numerous public and private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory and other compliance filings required by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. In addition, Brent regularly authors thought leadership for BDO publications, contributing insights on developments and trends impacting the real estate and data center sectors.
