Executive Summary

John Krupar has more than 30 years of military, industry and consulting experience focused on assisting U.S. manufacturing and service companies reach their potential. His engagements have delivered more than $25 billion in benefits and included strategy, organizational redesign, operational enhancements, global sourcing, marketing effectiveness, shared service development, LEAN operations, and LEAN Six Sigma deployment.

John has worked with more than 60 companies across the globe gaining substantial experience in multiple industry sectors, including government contracting, aviation, manufacturing & distribution, transportation, food service, chemical, energy, financial services, and healthcare.  Prior to transitioning to consulting 15 years ago, John spent five years each with the U.S. Army, Kaiser Aluminum, and General Electric.

Since joining the firm, John has completed more than a dozen manufacturing, service and transportation middle-market assignments. Private equity firms and investment banks reach out to John to assist with exit readiness efforts in order to formalize their portfolio company’s future strategy.

John was an Armored Cavalry officer in the U.S. Army assigned to duty stations in the U.S. and the Republic of Korea. Following his time in the Army, John held front-line manufacturing roles, including press department, heat treat and die shop supervisory roles within Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Company. Additionally, John held manufacturing management, manufacturing quality, global sourcing and P+L positions with General Electric’s Transportation Systems in Erie, PA.

Following a consulting assignment with Citigroup, John became head of Citigroup’s global reengineering program in 2007-2008, John’s team delivered $10 billion in expense savings, a 16% reduction in total expenses.
