The recovery of the AIM listed Oil & Gas sector continues despite a decline in oil prices. 2018 saw funding within the sector at its highest since 2011 and the sector experienced the highest market cap and average market cap per company since 2013.
In our eighth edition of Drilling Down, our annual review of the performance of AIM listed Oil & Gas companies, we examine how sector companies have fared in comparison to the overall AIM market, assess the trends in the number and market caps of AIM listed Oil & Gas companies and review the level of fundraising activity in the sector. We also share our thoughts on the outlook for certain aspects of the Oil & Gas sector going forward.
