Fred Rica

Fred leads the cyber practice at BDO and brings deep experience in cyber and technology risk management. He is a nationally recognized leader in information security and has led or managed hundreds of security assessment, design, and implementation projects for large, complex environments.

Across his career, Fred has worked on cyber and technology risk in identity management, vulnerability management, incident response, compliance, organizational design, and governance across a wide range of industries.

Over the past thirty years, Fred has helped some of the world’s leading users of technology address complex risk management challenges. His clients have included many of the Fortune 500’s most recognizable names. Much of this work has been mission critical, improving the effectiveness, cost, and performance of cyber and risk systems while supporting business goals, strengthening profitability, reducing risk, and driving innovation.

Fred speaks and writes often on information security and risk. He has presented at conferences including the Black Hat Briefings, RSA, and the NACD, is frequently quoted in major print media, and has appeared on CNN, CNBC, FOX, and other major networks.
