What is BDO Global Portal?

Our Global Portal is a personalized, secure, cloud-based window into both your business and your BDO relationship. It is a gateway to insights – from the market, your organization, your data, and from BDO – and a platform for communication and collaboration.
 

Getting Started

BDO Global Portal utilizes your email address to create your user profile. Invitations to the BDO Global Portal will be sent from the address noreply@bdo.global with the subject line "Welcome to the BDO Portal" and will look similar to the example below. During the initial login, Terms and Conditions require accepting.

Global Portal and Exchange

Exchange is a file collection system, designed to efficiently manage the collection process. Documents is a collaboration area between BDO and you. We can work on or store files together.

Exchange is the BDO method for collecting files from you. In Global Portal click on the Exchange link on the top menu bar. Files can be drag and dropped into each Request. Once all the files have been attached, click the Deliver button in the top right hand corner.
 
You can control the Notifications you receive in your Profile page. Click on the icon in the top right hand corner, My Profile.
 
BDO recommends Googles Chrome browser, however other browsers are supported.
 
Exchange supports files up to 2 GB. Large files could experience some latency. BDO recommends using a fixed internet connect when transferring large files.
 
A BDO professional may Accept or Return a Request in Exchange. If it is returned it means the files attached did not satisfy the request. Ask for additional information from your BDO contact.
 
The BDO Global Portal is specific to each client. The Projects within the Portal represent each engagement.
 
The BDO Global Portal runs on Microsoft Sharepoint to enable a modern user experience; some features are supported by Microsoft.
